OTG — TripMine Arm | Cybernetic Limb

Special thanks to Nicolas Gekko https://www.artstation.com/nicolasgekko for the trust and the opportunity to work on this project as 3D Art Director,
as well as to Yurii Nereta https://www.artstation.com/yurinereta (Lead Hard Surface Artist — Limb Department)
for his key role in developing the mechanical system and visual interpretation of the cybernetic limbs.

This cybernetic arm was created for the project Off The Grid, as part of the cyberlimb system designed for the world created by Neill Blomkamp.

On the project I work as 3D Art Director, responsible for developing several hard surface directions, including cybernetic limbs, weapons, vehicles and hero assets. As part of this role, I established and lead teams of artists working in these areas, while also contributing directly to the creation of selected assets.

For this particular asset I was responsible for the game-ready model, UV layout, baking, texturing and integration in Unreal Engine, as well as developing the early prototype of the material.

The original concept was created by Nicolas Gekko (Art Director). The implementation of the cyberlimb system, its adaptation to the shared character skeleton, and the development of the complex rigging setup were carried out in close collaboration between our team and the animation department, with key contributions from Oleksandr Shcherbyna (Lead Technical Animator) and Roman Onishchuk (Rigger).
